Furthering my experiments in audio-driven animation (which I’ve heard called ’sound sculptures’), this is my first piece which uses 3D tracking. The animation is fully automated - controlled with behaviours and scripting.
LBi invited me to work on a Flash game for British Gas. Professor Green & the Eco-rangers is aimed at children to encourage environmentally friendly activities, such as recycling and turning down the thermostat.
I designed the interface & interaction language, some animations, the ‘Scrappy Valley’ level look & feel and various iconography.
For LBi, I built and animated a box in 3D, for an intro to a website. In order to retain an air of sophistication, the animation was intentionally very reserved, whereas the render quality is very high.
For LBi, I built and animated a video wall in 3D for the new Buzz website. Once animated in, the wall becomes a picture viewer, and loads in different images.
